As a child love was real
Family was there for you
As the world we had to deal
Love was not so very true

 
 

Wanting to spread our wings
To find a family of our own
Love was what filled our dreams
Most of the time spent alone

 

 

 

Dreams of love did seem true
But always ended in such pain
Never knowing when or even who
Would give us the love again

 

 

 

Maybe these dreams are in vain
But I believe in our love
Hoping I will never hurt again
