2010 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport by TRD

This certainly isn't the first time we've heard rumblings about Lexus working on a performance version of its GS sedan. The crew at Road & Track reports that the upcoming GS-F will serve as the range-topping trim in the GS model range, set apart from its siblings with not only a more aggressive appearance, but a serious increase in power, to boot.

Sources within Toyota have told the buff book that the GS-F will be powered by a 5.0-liter V8, just like the smaller IS-F, but that output will be increased to 465 horsepower for the larger sedan. The other key ingredient to making the GS-F a serious performer is a substantial reduction in weight. Through the use of aluminum and carbon fiber components, Toyota aims to have the GS-F weigh in at about 3,700 pounds, meaning it should be capable of ripping off 4.5-second 0-60 times.

Toyota is positioning the GS-F to compete with the likes of the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, with prices to start somewhere around the $90,000 to $100,000 range. No official timeframe has been given on when we'll actually see the GS-F, but R&T states that it could show up as early as 2012, after the refreshed GS range debuts.

Curly Hair Care Tips For Looking Gorgeous

Most people who have curly hair find it really difficult to style, care for and wear their hair in a presentable manner. It is true that there are quite a lot of problems associated with curly hair, but with a few simple curly hair care tips, you can easily manage and wear your hair like you want to. Curly hair is prone to being brittle and fragile and hence breaks easily. It is also coarse in texture, dry, frizzy and thick which makes it even more difficult to manage this hair type. Chemically straightening the hair seems like the only solution for most people who have given up trying different hairstyles and styling techniques to manage their hair. The tips for curly hair mentioned below will make your hair so beautiful that you will surely fall in love with it all over again.

Curly Hair Care Tips

    * Limit shampooing your hair to no more than twice a week., shampooing strips your hair of its natural oils.
    * Use a conditioner every time after you shampoo to re-moisturize your hair.
    * Use a leave-in conditioner on your hair daily or every other day.
    * Use a shampoo and conditioner that is specifically geared towards curly hair.
    * Avoid using narrow toothed combs and brushes, use wide-toothed combs instead which has less of a tendency to cause breakage and frizzing.
    * To detangle your hair, in the shower start with your hair moist and conditioned (which will protect it from breakage), use your fingers to begin the untangling then finish with a wide toothed comb starting from the end going up finishing at the root of the hair. Then rinse your head with water and try to retain half of the conditioner in your hair. If you try to detangle your hair when it’s dry, you will cause it to frizz.
    * Let your hair aid dry to reduce frizzing, avoid brushing and using a towel to dry your hair. If you need to your hair to dry quickly, blot your hair with a towel, but do not rub it.
    * Deep condition your hair once a month or more to re-moisturize your scalp and hair.
    * Use a small amount of styling product with moisturizing ingredient(s) in it to keep your hair from frizzing when your hair is still slightly moist and gently style with your finger. Apply the styling one section so that it is equally distributed.
    * Avoid playing with your hair or touching it as much as possible, the more friction that occurs on your hair will cause it to tangle and/or frizz.
    * Avoid using hair dryer as much as possible, since curly hair tends to be very fragile. Let your hair air-dry as much as possible.
    * Avoid using hair dryer as much as possible, since curly hair tends to be very fragile. Let your hair air-dry as much as possible.
    * Massage your scalp with coconut oil, jojoba oil or Aloe Vera juice 1-2 times in a week.
    * Shape the hair by scrunching it some more and twirling pieces around a finger. Also, if you wait till the hair is still fairly damp but you can see the hair going curly, take hold of an individual curl, get some gel (wet-look works well)and spread it through the curl. This really stops frizzing.
    * Let it air dry for about 15 minutes, but do not touch or comb your hair. If your hair is very thick or frizzes easily you may want to put in hair products immediately after getting out of the shower.
    * Avoid heat at all costs. Don’t straighten your curls very often -curly hair is much more fun to look at, play with, and to twirl! Also, do not brush curly hair dry, unless you want a ‘fro.
