Falling In And Out Of Love

When I say I love you I do
But this with you will not do
I need someone I can lean on
Someone I can count on too

Yes you are there sometimes
For that I am grateful to you
But I need someone there full time
And that you can not do

You told me once you loved me
That I could believe in you
I was there when you needed someone
Where were you when I needed someone, too?

The time has come for me to let go
Never to expect you to care again
People may come and people may go
But my love will never end

Touch Yourself

I understand the why
Yet I cannot grasp the how;
But if this is the way you must handle us
I will try to understand somehow.

There is one thing that I ask
As you walk away;
Please create a corner in your heart for me
So at least, there, I can always stay.

You will always be my love
That will never change;
Though we are going separate ways
That fact remains the same.

I know we must let each other go
Circumstances force us to set each other free;
But today, I give back to you . . . your words -
Touch Yourself and You Touch Me.

Forgive me

Forgive me for what cannot be forgiven.
Open up the door I once slammed closed.
Restore the love that I once squandered, driven
Grimly by some grinch I've since deposed.
I cannot plead for what I cannot fathom,
Valuing least the value I most crave.
Each heart must sometimes haunt the steep-walled chasm,
Made mad by wrath and selfish songs that rave
Empty on the edges of the grave

'Leave My Heart'

I wonder why you went
To a place where I could never go
When you had everything with me
Only you will ever know

You never left me any time
To record the feeling of your touch
Where did the loving ever go
When it all once meant so much

You leave my heart, you steal my soul
And time won't fill the empty hole
You left in me when you walked out

Just leaving sorrow, pain and doubt
But I'll go on,
I'll find another one

Who'll treasure all that I will be
Who'll treasure all that I've become

So when you leave, don't take me with you
I couldn't bare to leave this place
Where all the memories reside
In the beauty of your face

Your love it dripped from your fingertips
With your blind caress
And made my soul sway with sorrow
That it will never be
here again with me

It creeps to me in the cold of night
When my heart has wishes I can't fulfil
Your arms sweeten the sound of sorrow
But only … only until ...

... You leave my heart, you leave my soul
New love will fill the empty hole
You left in me when you walked out
No more sorrow, fear or doubt

But I'll go on,
Yes I've moved on
I'll find another one
Who'll treasure all that I will be
Who'll treasure all that I've become

--I'll Never Love Again--

I'll love you forever,
We will never part.
Together forever.
Words straight from the heart.

These words I told you,
And I meant what I said.
But the fire has died down,
The affection is dead.

"She said it's over,"
Your best friend told me.
YOU COULDN'T DO IT ON YOUR OWN?
You broke my heart, you see.

The heartbreak was too much,
I won't be hurt again.
No more late phone calls,
No more girlfriends.

I can't believe you hurt me.
I thought our love was true…
How could you do this?
WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?

But I've lost you forever.
Even as a friend.
And one lesson you've taught me,
I'LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN!

--True Hurt--

You ask me to quit calling,
you speak in words of hate.
You say you never loved me,
that all those words were fake.

I never really hurt you,
at times I thought it fair.
But you put me down and ridicule
and never seem to care.

I thought that you were different,
that you'd never hurt me.
But now I know the real you,
now it's the truth I see.

Your intentions were clear all along,
you didn't hide them well.
I soon found that all you wanted
was to kick me when I fell.

But I am smarter now,
for support I have my friends.
I know for sure next time,
this won't be how it ends.

If You Forget Me

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine

Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

If those I loved were lost

If those I loved were lost
The Crier's voice would tell me --
If those I loved were found
The bells of Ghent would ring --

Did those I loved repose
The Daisy would impel me.
Philip -- when bewildered
Bore his riddle in!

Dream Deferred

Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?

Or fester like a sore--
And then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

I Love You  Deeply

Where  you may be

Look  to  the stars

You'll  see  me there

where ever  you are

I Love  you deepl

the  stars  will  tell  you

When  I  look to the stars

I see  your  face

I love you deeply

the  stars  will tell you

They  are  my  witness

on  a lonely night

Cause  when you're not with me

they  fail  to give light

Love you..... Deary

FACE TO FACE

FACE TO FACE

A woman arrived at heaven's gate and met Jesus face to face. As he reviewed her life with her, she could see every event just as clearly as if it were happening right then and there. Looking at a time in her life filled with sorrow, she asked him a question that had long been on her heart:
"Lord, look at my time of greatest trouble. I prayed and prayed but I heard no word from you. I would have despaired had it not been for all the people who helped me: the friends who listened and consoled, who brought me food and understanding, who cried with me and stood by me, and my family who gave me a reason to go on living. But why did you abandon me? Why didn't you help me?"
"My child," Jesus answered,
"Why didn't you recognize me?"
